【Linux CentOS5.4】 tftp-serverの利用

tftp-serverをインストールし、利用できるようする。


■インストール

[root@localhost ~]# yum install tftp-server

■コンフィグファイルの修正

[root@localhost ~]# vi /etc/xinetd.d/tftp

# default: off
# description: The tftp server serves files using the trivial file transfer \
#       protocol.  The tftp protocol is often used to boot diskless \
#       workstations, download configuration files to network-aware printers, \
#       and to start the installation process for some operating systems.
service tftp
{
        socket_type             = dgram
        protocol                = udp
        wait                    = yes
        user                    = root
        server                  = /usr/sbin/in.tftpd
        server_args             = -s /tftpboot　　　←　/tftpboot　がtftpにて公開される
        disable                 = no　　　　　　　　　　←　noにする
        per_source              = 11
        cps                     = 100 2
        flags                   = IPv4
}

■xinetdの再起動

[root@localhost ~]# service xinetd restart

そうすると、tftp-serverがアクティブになる。

ルートディレクトリに/tftpbootが作成されていることを確認し、
tftpで公開するファイルをコピーする。
公開ファイルの所有者はrootでもかまわない。
